The good folk at Custompak have lifted their already excellent customer service levels, having just successfully commissioned a huge, new KASEMAKE table and associated leading-edge KASEMAKE software.

 John Baldwin, Managing Director of the Ilkeston-based sheet plant reflects: “As well as doing conventional short and medium runs of conventional and die cut cases, we also have a focus on short runs of complex, difficult-to-make packs…at often outrageously short lead times. What others might consider to be ‘awkwards and uglies’ are comfortably within the sweet spots of Custompak’s broad capability range. It’s almost unheard of for us to turn down a job…

 By enhancing our own in-house Design capability we have ensured that we can immediately design and supply bespoke samples and even short runs of die cut packs from our highly productive sample-making table.”

 With a team of 22 (including the tenacious focus of their redoubtable new Sales Director Julie Martin) working out of their 26,000 sq. ft. site, they’ve grown sales to £1.5m…and are set fair to grow to their £5m potential now that the final piece of their  investment plan has been put in place.
